Learn how to craft planes, fly planes and crash planes.

If you're anything like Santio71, you really like to fly planes, but have no idea how to make or fly one. Don't worry though, we're here to teach you how.

Crafting Planes

Crafting planes is simple! All you need to do is get your hands on a nether star, glazed terracotta and an iron ingot. Here is an example.

As you can see, to craft the pink plane, you place the nether star in the top left corner of the crafting table, iron ingot opposite and a diagonal line of pink glazed terracotta. If you wanted to create a red, blue or yellow plane, see the table below.

Flying Planes

Now you've crafted your fine aircraft, you'll want to know how to fly it.

Key	Result
W	Pitch forward (lose altitude, land)
S	Pitch backwards (gain altitude, take off)
A	Roll left (turn)
D	Roll right (turn)
Space	Taxi (when landed, move slowly on ground)

Make sure to avoid crashing your plane, as not only will it leave you with a bruise, but it will destroy your plane. Let's hope you aren't too high up when you crash!
